Eisenhower Elementary School PTA located in Wauwatosa Wisconsin is made up 110 members. Our parents
are not only dedicated to their children's academic performance but also to providing opportunities to enhance all of the
student's educational experience while attending Eisenhower.
Eisenhower PTA focuses on building a strong connection between home and
school with the following programs:
- Book Fair
- High Interest Day
- Family Picnic
- Artist in Residence
- Scouts
- 5th Grade Volleyball Night
- Book Exchange
- Cultural Arts Programs
- Health Room Volunteers
- Parent Teacher Advisory Council
Eisenhower PTA is proud of the awards received by on behalf of our PTA’s efforts:
- 2005-06 Wisconsin PTA Elementary Teacher of
the Year Award given to Kathy Marks, K-5 teacher at Eisenhower
- Wisconsin PTA Program of the Year (2004-05) awarded for "Passport
to Fun"
- 2004 Spectrum Award of Excellence for Cultural Diversity Communication Project (Passport to Fun
Night) given by the Wisconsin School Public Relations Association (WSPRA)
- 2003-04 Wisconsin PTA Teacher of the Year is Kris Jack, Art Teacher at Eisenhower
- National PTA Involvement School of Excellence 2003
- 2003 Wisconsin PTA Katzer-Smith Award for Volunteer Service awarded to Joan Snyder, 2003/04 Eisenhower PTA

Mission & Objects
of the National PTA
The National
Congress of Parents and Teachers is an educational organization that seeks to unite the forces of home, school, and community
on behalf of children and youth.
The Mission of the PTA is Three-Fold:
- to support and
speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental agencies and other organizations
that make decisions affecting children;
- to assist parents
in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and
- to encourage parent
and public involvement in the public schools of this nation
Its
Objects Are:
- To promote the
welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship.
- To raise the standards
of home life.
- To secure adequate
laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
- To bring into
closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children
and youth.
- To develop between
educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical,
mental, social and spiritual education.
