CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Whitman had five winners in the PTA's Reflections Contest:
The three state winners are:
Rachael Poli for visual arts
Carly Grant for music
Kate Mylotta for literature
We also had two Grand Winners. Their work will go on to represent the state of
Wisconsin in their divisions at the National level to be judged in April.

German Club
Students from all grades are welcome... not just for GERMAN STUDENTS!
Dues are $5.00 ($2.00 for 6th graders)
Club meets once a month in Rm. 114 (3:15 - 4:15)
Mark these dates: 12/17, 1/14, 2/18, 3/17, 4/14, 5/19
Celebrate Oktoberfest, create the ultimate recycled castle, do something for the environment, learn about the language,
food and culture of Germany. German club is for everyone interested in having fun, making new friends and trying something
new.
Cooking Club
Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
The cost per session $1.00.
All students are invited to participate. Each cooking session is limited to 24 student's. So
far we have made Fruit Smoothies and Snickerdoodles. Come by room 5 and talk with Mrs. Towle if you would still like
